    摘要:

1 Introduction The Hailar Basin is located in the southwestern part of Hulun Buir League of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, China. The basin is bounded to the east by the Yimin River, to the west by the western shore of Hulun Lake, to the north by the northern bank of the Hailar River and to the south merges into Mongolia. The basin is between 115°30' –120°00'E and 46°00'–49°20'N covering an area of 70480 km2 (Fig. 1). Its Paleozoic tectonic setting belongs to the Xuguit Qi …

    Abstract:

Three sporopollen assemblages are recognized for the first time from the Cretaceous Yimin Formation in the Hailar Basin of eastern Inner Mongolia. They are (in ascending order): the Impardecispora-Aequitriradites-Clavatipollenites assemblage; the Triporoletes-Pilosisporites-Asteropollis assemblage; and the Appendicisporites-Asteropollis-Tricolpites assemblage, distributed in Members 1, 2 and 3 of the Yimin Formation respectively. Recognition of this biostratigraphic sequence is very important for the division and correlation of the Yimin Formation in the basin. Meanwhile, the age of the Yimin Formation is considered to be Barremian to Early Albian based on the palynological data.
