    本文选取巴丹吉林沙漠东南部全球高差最大(约420m)的诺尔图湖东大沙山和较高的苏木巴润吉林湖西大沙山(高差约400m)作为研究对象,对其迎风坡沉积物粒度特征进行系统采样分析,讨论了高大沙山迎风坡粒度成分特点、变化规律、原因及其活动性和动力变化。结果表明,全球高差最大的诺尔图东沙山迎风坡表层沉积物的粒度组成较下层略粗,表层沉积物的中砂(47.48%)含量高于细砂(39.43%),而下层沉积物的细砂含量(54.01%)明显高于中砂(40.96%);两层沉积物的极粗砂、粗砂、极细砂和粗粉砂含量均很少,且不含粘粒。上层粒度成分比下层粗主要是由表层受到了风蚀作用造成的。从沙山下部到上部,迎风坡沉积物粒逐渐变细,分选变好,偏度趋于负偏。苏木巴润吉林湖西大沙山的粒度组成也具有上粗下细的双层结构,粒度组成特点和变化规律与诺尔图湖东大沙山基本相同。两个大沙山粒度组成与变化特点一致表明,大沙山表层粒度成分在发生粗化,物质组成还在发生移动,大沙山仍然处在活动阶段。与我国其它地区各沙漠风速相比,巴丹吉林大沙山区风动力较强,这是其粒度较粗的重要原因之一,也是能够形成全球高差最大沙山所必须的动力条件。大沙山物质运移的基本模式是下部以侵蚀搬运为主,中、上部物质堆积与侵蚀运移同时发生,风沙物质经过多次的运移传递而到达沙山顶部和背风坡。

    Abstract:

    Sediments were sampled on the windward slope of a typical barchanoid compound mega-dune with a height of close to 420m in southeastern Badain Jaran Desert for grain-size distribution analysis. Study of grain composition and the reasons for variation of mega-dune, activity and changes in power of mega-dune. The analysis results indicate that the surface layer sediment size is higher than that of sub-surface layer on the windward slope of the mega-dune. The surface sediments contain almost the same fraction of medium and fine sands, being 47.48% and 39.43% respectively. However, the sub-surface sediments contain significantly higher fraction of fine sand. The content of medium and fine sand is 40.96% and 54.01%respectively. The fraction of very fine sand very coarse sand and coarse sand in both surface and sub-surface sediments is insignificant, and clay are absent. Wind erosion is responsible for the difference in grain size between the two layers. In general, grain on the crestal zone of the mega-dune is finer and better sorted than that at toe of wind-ward slope. The frequency distribution curve becomes more negatively skewed, but there is no typically changed on kurtosis. The reason of thinning from the lower to the top of the Mega-dune are terrain increase and slope increases.Coarser and more poorly sorted sediments appear on the middle to upper section of wind-ward slope of the mega-dune due to local topographical relief and air current. Mega-dune coarse granularity of the surface shows that, Material of mega-dune being in the event of mobile,is the activities mega-dune. Comparing Wind in the other dune of China, the wind is maximum in Badain Jaran Desert. that is the one reason of coarse granularity. That also must be the dynamic conditions to the formation of greatest mega-dune own height difference.
