MNR Key Laboratory of Metallogeny and Mineral Assessment, Institute of Mineral Resources, Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences, Beijing 100037, ChinaIn the Himalayan orogen, the geochemical and B isotopic systematics of tourmaline in leucogranites may have been modified by assimilation of country rocks, particularly in the Tou-LG veins and at the margins of leucogranite plutons. The B isotopic compositions of tourmalines in the relatively primitive TMG may best represent those of the source of the Himalayan leucogranites.
