    Abstract:

1 Introduction Southern Guizhou, especially the Dushan area, has been one of the most important areas for the study of the Devonian in South China, for example, Hou and Xian’s (1975) study of the Eifelian brachiopod fauna. The Upper Devonian in the Dushan section is mainly composed of carbonate rocks, with rare siliciclastics.
