Abstract:

This paper embodies the results of a study of the turtle remainscollected during the systematic excavations on the archaeological site ofAnyang,the old capital of the Shang dynasty (circa 1400-1100 B.C.),started since 1928 by the Institute of History and Philology,AcademiaSinica.
