The stratigraphical conditions in which have been found the neo(?)thic remains from Tsitsihar are perfectly similar to those met with elsewhere in N. Jehol. S. Manchuria and Mongolia (f, i. in Linnsi~1): black earth (a few meters thick, or still less), overlying Late Pleistocene deposits (sands) of the "Sjaraosso-gol facies".
