The first session of the Sixth Annual Meeting was called to order at 9:30 A.M., Wednesday, February 13 in the Library Building of the National Geological Survey of China, Peking, by President V. K. Ting. Fifty four members were present including Prof. Otto Jackel, representative of Sunyatsen University,
