    上扬子地区上奥陶统观音桥段是研究晚奥陶世海洋—气候变化沉积响应的良好载体。研究该套地层有机质差异富集成因,有助于理解该时期海洋—气候变化的沉积响应过程,并为五峰组—龙马溪组页岩气勘探提供参考。以上扬子地区石柱漆辽剖面、N211井和LY3井的观音桥段为研究对象,分析了总有机碳(TOC)、电性、元素、矿物组分等特征,并结合前人研究成果,探讨了观音桥段有机质差异富集成因。结果表明:石柱漆辽剖面TOC含量以及N211井TOC含量、自然伽马(GR)值、硅元素(Si)含量、石英含量、生物Si(Sibio)含量整体上由五峰组底部到五峰组顶部的观音桥段逐渐变大,观音桥段出现极大值,再由观音桥段向龙马溪组逐渐变小。N211井铝元素(Al)和黏土矿物含量整体上由五峰组底部到五峰组顶部的观音桥段逐渐变小,观音桥段出现极小值,再由观音桥段向龙马溪组逐渐变大。LY3井TOC含量和GR值由五峰组底部向上逐渐变大,然后向观音桥段突然变小,由观音桥段向龙马溪组突然变大,由龙马溪组底部向上逐渐变小。研究认为,观音桥段沉积期上扬子地区的海洋—气候过程与现代秘鲁地区的类似。纵向上观音桥段有机质的富集与古生代强“类拉尼娜”现象有关,空间上观音桥段有机质的差异富集与古地理环境导致的上升流差异发育有关。该研究可为晚奥陶世海洋—气候变化的沉积响应研究提供案例,为上扬子地区五峰组—龙马溪组页岩气有利区预测提供借鉴,即,观音桥段TOC含量为高值的地区,是五峰组—龙马溪组页岩气勘探的有利地区。

    Abstract:

    The Guanyinqiao Member of the Upper Ordovician in the Upper Yangtze region serves as an excellent archive for investigating the sedimentary response to ocean-climate changes during the Late Ordovician. Research on the differential enrichment mechanism of organic matter in this strata will help elucidate the sedimentary response processes of ocean-climate fluctuations in this period, and provides a reference for shale gas exploration in the Wufeng-Longmaxi Formations. Taking the Guanyinqiao Member from the Qiliao Section in Shizhu, Well N211, and Well LY3 in the Upper Yangtze region as research objects, this study analyzed the characteristics of total organic carbon (TOC), well logging properties, elemental and mineral compositions, and discussed the causes of differential organic matter enrichment in the Guanyinqiao Member combined with previous research findings. The results show that the TOC content in the Qiliao Section, as well as the TOC content, natural gamma ray (GR) values, silicon (Si) content, quartz content, and biogenic silica (Sibio) content in Well N211, generally increase upward from the bottom of the Wufeng Formation to the Guanyinqiao Member at the top of the Wufeng Formation, reaching maximum values in the Guanyinqiao Member, and then gradually decrease from the Guanyinqiao Member to the Longmaxi Formation. The aluminum (Al) content and clay mineral content in Well N211 generally decrease upward from the bottom of the Wufeng Formation to the Guanyinqiao Member at the top of the Wufeng Formation, reaching minimum values in the Guanyinqiao Member, and then gradually increase from the Guanyinqiao Member to the Longmaxi Formation. For Well LY3, the TOC content and GR values increase upward from the bottom of the Wufeng Formation, then abruptly decrease toward the Guanyinqiao Member, increase sharply from the Guanyinqiao Member to the Longmaxi Formation, and gradually decrease upward from the bottom of the Longmaxi Formation. This study suggests that the ocean-climate processes in the Upper Yangtze region during the depositional stage of the Guanyinqiao Member were analogous to those in modern-day Peru. Vertically, the organic matter enrichment in the Guanyinqiao Member is associated with the Paleozoic strong "La Ni?a-like" phenomenon. Spatially, the differential enrichment of organic matter in the Guanyinqiao Member is related to the heterogeneous development of upwelling caused by paleogeographic settings. This study can provide a case for research on the sedimentary response to Late Ordovician ocean-climate changes and a reference for favorable zone prediction of shale gas in the Wufeng-Longmaxi Formations in the Upper Yangtze region, i.e., areas with high TOC values in the Guanyinqiao Member are favorable targets for shale gas exploration in the Wufeng-Longmaxi Formations.
