Abstract:The Doushantuo Period of the Ediacaran (Sinian) is not only an important epoch of the origin and development of the mulicellular organisms and the accumulation of phosphates, but also an important epoch of the Rodinia Supercontinent cracking and a tempestuous epoch of the chemical, climatic, and environmental changes. The discovery of the phosphorus seismites, including liquefied vein, liquefied breccia, liquefied deformation structure, and faultgraded, indicate that the earthquake event happened at least two times in the Yangtze area during the late Doushantuoan. The seismotectonism caused the release of energy accumulated within the Earth. It, probably, was a way or a passageway of the phosphorus origin and hydrothermal action to increase the phosphorous inorganicsalt in seawater and to warm seawater. The phosphorous inorganicsalt and warmed seawater were beneficial to the origin and development of mulicellular organisms. In addition, the rich organisms also were helpful to the phosphate accumulation.
