Sociogeoscience, a new branch of geosciences and also a crossing subject, is proposed in this paper. The birth of sociogeoscience is inevitable in the process of the development of human soci-eties. Its mission is to deal with the difficulties faced with by human beings and provide solid sci-ence basis in order to realize the sustainable development. Sociogeoscience pays close attention to resources, population and environment.
