Writers are students of the Lüliang Mountain Group on Metamophic Rocks, Shanxi Practicing Team(1959～1961),Beijing Institute of Geology, of them, the first writer has been engaged in geological survey and study on the same direction since that time. Writers had a 3days geological field trip in the practicing area in 2006. Discussing and reviewing on the results about Precambrian in the Lüliang Mountains area, writers put out this paper, mainly review on the 4 representative solutions of stratigraphic division for Precambrian in Lüliang Mountains area and the time background of their formation. (1) the solution of ours（1961） focuses on the degree of metamorphism；（2）Shanxi Regional Stratigraphic Table（1980） emphasis migmatization；（3） Shanxi Regional Geological Annals（1989） takes multiple phases of superimposed fold as the background；（4）Shanxi Rock Stratigraphy（1997） accepts ductile shear zone viewpoint. Writers considered that to determine the relationship between metamorphic stratigraphy with unconformity relationship, structural line direction, the stratum distribution pattern, and the original geopetal structure is recommendable. But there are still a number of questions as follow: (1) To determine relations among the three Paleoproterozoic Groups is lack of evidences in Lüliang Mountains area. (2) How to correctly identify invasive, melting, and metamorphic gneiss as well as ductile shear zone and “hot diapir”of marble.
