By studying the petrology and geochemistry of continental volcanic rocks i n Awulale area, the rocks are of bimodal volcanic rock composition fea t ures and belong to alkaliriched, calc alkaline rock series formed incontin ertal rift tectonic environment. The volcanic rocks are the products of deep alkaliriched magma differentiation and contain albites. The copper mineraliz ation had intimately relation with volcanic activity.
