Magmagranite and migmatized granite are widel y dispersed over Kangding—Panzhihua area,their source of mass relates to remelt in g of the Kongding Gro up crystalline basement during Paleoproterozoic. Both possessed some common features, such as consanguity and the same geological age. The different loc ation m echanism leads to formation of different minerals. The former formed the SnW deposits on the contact zone because it experienced the allochthonous emplacement and di fferentiation evolutionary process; The latter was unfavourable to formation of deposit because it lacated in the homeland or subautochthonous, and had not experienc ed the different evolutionary process, so only some gold ore spot and mi n eralization are found in the contact zone.
