    • Carboniferous Biostratigraphy of Guizhou Province

      摘要:The Carboniferous in Guizhou may be divided into 3 lithostratigraphic regions, 2 series and 7 stages. TheLower Carboniferous is composed of 4 regional stages, 1 foraminifer assemblage, 4 fossil coral zones (with 9subzones) and 11 brachiopod assemblages; the Upper Carboniferous is divided into 3 regional. stages, 9fusulinid zones (with 2 subzones) and 4 ammonite zones. Based on the studies of foraminifers and conodonts.the base of the Carboniferous in Guizhou 1s placed at least near the top of the coral Cystophrentis zone.

      摘要:Listric faults of different levels and scales are widely developed in the lithosphere. According to theirtectonomechanical geneses. the author divides listric faults into primary and secondary ones. and the formermay be subdivided into gravity-gliding listric faults, regional extensional listric normal faults. regionalcontractional reverse listric faults and deep-seated ductile listric faults, By means of the slip-line field theorydealing with Mohr's criterion expressed by quadratic limiting curves. the author has preliminarily determinedthe occurrences. patterns and mechanical properties of various types of listric faults during their formation. andhas analyzed their tectonic evolution and related dynamic processes in the lithosphere.

      摘要:There is a NE-trending earthquake hazard anomalous zone in the western part of the area of the city ofBeijing proper. A comprehensive study of it has been made. In the study the two-dimensional finite element dy-namic analysis and supersonic seismic model experiments were conducted for the first time. and some prelimi-nary results have been achieved. The Beijing depression, a lower order tectonic unit in the Beijing downwarp, is just located below theearthquake hazard anomalous zone. Analysis of the experimental results shows that the topography of the bu-ried bedrock is the main factor responsible for the presence of the anomalous zone. Besides. thetwo-dimensional mathematical analysis has more marked advantages in reflecting the lateral inhomogeneity ofthe foundation as compared with the one-dimensional one. and the supersonic seismic model experiments mayreflect the integrated effects of the earthquake sources, path of wave propagation and site geological structurein an all-round way.

    • Mineral Chemistry of Clinopyroxenes in Mantle-Derived Inclusions in Cenozoic Basalts from Eastern China and Their Geological Significance

      摘要:In this paper, 183 chemical analyses of clinopyroxenes are collected from mantle-derived inclusions inCenozoic basalts of eastern China. Through synthetic studies of the relevant data, their mineral chemistry andgeological significance are discussed. Based on the composition fo clinopyroxenes the authors conclude that theCenozoic upper mantle in eastern China is of the continental, primitive, metasomatic and high-temperaturetypes and is related to rift structural environment and variation in composition of basalts. The geobarometry ofclinopyroxenes indicates that Cenozoic basalts of eastern China are derived from the asthenosphere and thatthe average depth of faults progressively increases from south to north and from east to west.

    • Ore-Forming Processes and Dissipative Structures

      摘要:The theory of dissipative structures is applied in this paper to probing into the dynamics, temporal struc-tures and spatial structures of ore-forming processes and the inherent relationships among them. Areas of oreformation are large dynamic systems in development and evolution. The core of ore formation is the "onset ofore-forming processes". and the crux of it is the "transition from mineralization to ore formation". The theoryof bifurcation and theory of fluctuation make possible the access to the solution of this problem. The multiord-er or successive bifurcation of dissipative structures introduces dynamic geochemical processes into geosciencesand inverses the dynamic evolution and temporal rhythms of ore-forming processes. The localization ofdissipative structures introduces dynamic geochemical fields into geosciences and brings to light the causes andmechanisms of the formation and development of geochemical areas of ore formation (regions and zones of oreformation) and their spatial dynamic patterns.

    • Types and Metallogenic Models of Nickel Sulfide Deposits of China

      摘要:Most of the sulfide nickel deposits in China occur on the margins of platforms and their outer mobilebelts. The ore-bearing basic-ultrabasic rock bodies were formed in the Proterozoic and Variscan. The types ofmetallogenic rock bodies include ultrahasic-basic complexes related to volcanism in eugeosynclines andultrabasic rock bodies, ultrabasic-basic complexes and basic rock bodies related to deep fractures. On the basisof ore-forming processes and modes, nickel sulfide deposits of China may be divided into two major types:in-situ magmatic liquid unmixing deposits and deep-seated magmatic liquid unmixing injection deposits. Thelatter may by subdivided into four types: single injection deposits, multiple injection deposits, and pulsatory in-jection depositis, and late injection deposits which may inject into either comagmatic rocks or other kinds ofcountry rocks. Two metallogenic models for nickel sulfide deposits are proposed in this paper.

      摘要:The geology of loess in China involves many problems. This paper deals only with the basic ones of the or-igin of loess. the geologic setting and palaeoenvironmental evolution leading to the formation of the Loess Pla-teau. and the regional stratigraphy of loess deposits. particularly the last problem. A better knowledge of theformation and development of the loess deposits in China has been obtained through analysis and correlationof lithostratigraphy. biostratigraphy, magnetostratigraphy. climatostratigraphy and chronostratigraphy.

    • Finite Element Analysis of Crossing Flow in an Intersected Fracture by Penalty Function Formulation

      摘要:On the basis of Navier-Stokes equation, a digital analogue of crossing flow is carried out by means of finiteelement analysis performed through penalty function formulation. The results of the digital analogue are ingood agreement with that of the previous hydraulic physical simulation. They both demonstrate the effect of"deflection flow" occurring at the fracture intersection that the fracture-water crossing flow deflects △q intothe wide fracture.
