〗The Qiangtang Basin is located in the hinterland of the Xizang(Tibetan) Plateau. The Jurassic—Cretaceous strata is widely distributed. However, due to the high altitude and cold climate conditions, stratigraphic research is relatively weak, which limits the improvement of our level on geological knowledge of the Qiangtang Basin. This article reviewed the field survey data of published text in the last 40 years, combined with our latest works on the Qiangtang Basin, summarized the Jurassic—Cretaceous lithostratigraphic framework. And briefly discussed the sedimentary environment and provenance of each geological unit. In addition, we also put out some problems about the Jurassic—Cretaceous stratigraphic framework of the Qiangtang Basin.
