    Abstract:

The lamprophyres and weathering crust rich in rare earth elements discovered in the Majiang county, Southeast of Guizhou province are a potential rare earth mineral resource. The lamprophyres and weathering crust with high total content (558.78~2409.94×10-6, with an average of 1461.21×10-6). This discovery is of great significance for research and prospecting of rare earth mineral resources. If the rare earth elements can be comprehensively used, the value of the mung bean rocks will be enhanced greatly.
