    Abstract:

Spatial distribution of associated useful elements (REE, PGE, W, Mo, Au, Te) in Co-rich Crusts from Weijia guyots in Magellan Seamounts is studied in this paper. The study shows that the distribution of associated useful elements is highly uneven in Weijia Guyots. But generally, distribution is paralleled to the water depth, except that a few areas show patch distribution. Enrichment areas of different associated useful elements are different. REE and PGE are enriched on the southern and southwestern slope, while W and Mo are enriched on the northwestern and eastern slope. Au is enriched on the southeastern slope. But the content of Te element is the same on each side of slopes. As the water depth increases, the content of REE and PGE ascend to maximum and then descend gradually. The content of W, Mo, Au and Te ascend first, then descend a little, and ascend again as the water depth increases.
