Abstract:In the early Hercynian,NW faults in the extensionsubsidence zone on t he south margin of the Siberia plate controlled Devonian volcanicsediment basins and seafloor volcanicexhalativesedimentary deposits in the Keketal e ore belt,northern of Xinjiang.The sequence of formed deposits is the Mengku ir on de posit,the Keketale leadzinc deposit,Tiemuerte leadzinccopper deposit and Sarekuobu gold deposit.δ34S of pyrite in the Mengku iron deposit shows S and Fe came from hypomagmas.δ34S in leadzinc and coppe r deposits could be div ided into two groups.In one group,δ34S ranges from -27.961‰ to - 5.400‰,while in the other δ34S from -3.360‰ to +5.100‰ .Information of S isotopic composi tion and fluid inclusion reflects that there are two kinds of mineralizing flu ids:sea watercircling fluid and volcanic magma fluid.The oreforming seque nce evo lution is determined by faults, basins and volcanic and fluid evolution.
