    Abstract:

In the early Hercynian,NW faults in the extensionsubsidence zone on t he south margin of the Siberia plate controlled Devonian volcanicsediment basins and seafloor volcanicexhalativesedimentary deposits in the Keketal e ore belt, northern of Xinjiang. The sequence of formed deposits is the Mengku ir on de posit, the Keketale leadzinc deposit,Tiemuerte leadzinccopper deposit and Sarekuobu gold deposit.δ34S of pyrite in the Mengku iron deposit shows S and Fe came from hypomagmas.δ34S in leadzinc and coppe r deposits could be div ided into two groups. In one group,δ34S ranges from -27.961‰ to - 5.400‰,while in the other δ34S from -3.360‰ to +5.100‰ .Information of S isotopic composi tion and fluid inclusion reflects that there are two kinds of mineralizing flu ids:sea watercircling fluid and volcanic magma fluid. The oreforming seque nce evo lution is determined by faults, basins and volcanic and fluid evolution.
