Abstract:There is a buried volcanic vent of 10000 years old in the Xiaoshan district, whi ch is formed by tuffs resulting from multistage eruptions. This district was once a bay. Later o n, various landscapes were formed, such as cliffs, tableland and sand dunes along with the earth's cru stal movement. It is rich in mineral water, terrestrial heat, grit and other mineral resources. There fore, this paper puts forward some suggestions to the development and utilization of the land, mineral and tourist resources of this district besides the geological studies.
