    Abstract:

Ninteen samples are collected from the hot spring and cold spring in the Ti anchi volcanic r egion and its surrounding areas. The reservoir temperature and reservoir depth of the hot springs are calculated. The characteristics and chang es of the chemic al compositions of the geothermal fluids in the volcanic r e gion are analyzed. Based on correlations with the surrounding areas, Cl, F, B, Fe and Mn are found to be the typical components of deep geothermal fluids in the Tianchi volcanic region, and these components may possibly be used as sensitive co mponents for monitoring volcanic activities. Also discussed are the water-rock interaction equilibrium and mixing of shallow groundwater in the volcanic region.
