This paper discusses sedimentary facies marks provided by mutiple kinds of logging data; particularly the high-resolution dip log can provide iseveral useful sedimentary facies-marks. Then it proposes a new method and steps for analyzing sedimentary facies using logging data, which have been applied in the sedimentary facies analysis of sandstone in three oil fields in Tarim.
