This paper analyzes the current situation, internal and external environment, and existing advantages, disadvantages, opportunities and threats of the geological prospecting business in Gansu Province on the road of high-quality development with the SWOT method, and proposes how the geological prospecting business in Gansu can adapt to the development trend of the times in the future, give full play to its advantages and avoid it. Weaknesses, ways and strategies to seize opportunities and meet challenges.
