On February 24, 2022, the Chinese Geological Society announced the "Top Ten Geological Science and technology progress" and "top ten geological prospecting achievements" of the Chinese Geological Society in 2021 (Table 1 and table 2). The selection procedure is unit recommendation → formal review → preliminary evaluation → final evaluation → publicity.
