The same shaped of fracture assemblages of different orders or sequences have been discovered in east Xinjiang and Beishan, Gansu Province. They are not only similar in geometry and dynimics, but also closely associated in mechanical evolution, and orderly arranged in space like mosaics. The fracture assemblages of lower orders or sequences, which occurred as a part of those of the higher grades or sequences, are of selfsimilarities to the latter (the whole). The selfsimilarities of the Vshaped structure and Hshaped structure are examined in this paper as case studies in respect of selfsimilarities of fracture assemblages,and their geometry, formation mechanics and differences have been discussed as well.
