The stratigraphic section of MesoNeoproterozoic in Jixian County,T ianjin is wellknown in the world.Dongshan gold ores are discovered rece ntly in the section,where gold ores are mainly hosted in a great decollem ent zone in metamorphic core complex.The gold formation is related to the conti nental extensional structure and hosted in subvolcanic rocks belonging within th e blac k shale of Chuanlinggou Formation of the Changcheng System.the subvolcanic rocks consist of intrusive rocks of supersubhypabyssal facies and subvolcanic facoe s and cryptoexplosive facies.The authors consider that this gold deposit belongs to the structuralalteration type.The ore bodies are sacklike,lenticular,or veinlike.The Au contents are 3×10-6～8×10-6,the lengths and widt hs of the ore bodies vary greatly.
