Abstract:The Tianchi volcano in the Changbai Mountains is one of the most famous vo lcan oes in the world. It is the largest active volcano with the most dangerous poten t ial of eruption in China.Besides the large scale eruption the occurred in 1000 a BP (based on14C dating),there have been many eruptions of various s c ales.Through collection and referring ten of million words from historical reco rds and books,it can be known that there have been many eruption at Tianchi, Ch angbaishan, which are 1018,1124,1200,1265,1373,1401,1573,1668,1702 and 1903 B.C.
