There are many models and methods available for petroleum resource assessme nt at play level . To project resources from a specific direction, each method or model requires a certain level of geological information or degree of explora tion information and is thus restricted to certain applications. Applying differ ent methods to the same play resharpens the forces as used alone, and hence incr ease the cridibility of the reslting assessment. This article using the resource assessment for the Jurassic play of Halten Terrace as an example, presences a m ethod for the cross-validation.
