Abstract:Wave analysis includes two aspects, one is the time scale analysis and the other is the space scale analysis. Time scale wave study begins with the restoration of the sedimentary rates for different geological times, and then a histogram of sediment ary rates is established. Moreover, cycle wave in different scales can b e figured out by some special numerical processing on the histogram e.g. thr eetimes sample plate insert, Fourier regression and sliding average . The space scale wave analysis begin with the study of structural beatures, and th e shape of the structure can be simulated by means of selection of the directio n and nu mbers of the wave beams and measurement of the wavelength and amplitude. Meanwhi l e, this paper introduces the detailed numerical model and computerized process f or both the time cale wave analysis and the space scale wave analysis. Moreover, the prospects of applications of the numerical model of the wave analysis and remaining problems are discussed.
