Reservoir description made by applying seismic information is a key schjectstudied recently cy petroleum exploration geologists. A series of practical techniqueshave been developed. According to the actual date about several oil fields or petro-leum-bearing structures in both onshore and offshore areas of China,in this paper,the basic methods, suitable conditions and process for the integrated reservoir inter-pretation made by means of applying seismic well log,geological and drilling data.A basic formula for calculating the thickness of thin beds with the help of multi-seismic data is presented Based on the differences between some areal lithologicaland seismic information, two metnods have been used to predict physical parametersof the reservoirs. One is the determinate geostatistics and the other is the Coringi-ng analysis. Many examples are given in the paper with aview to showing thf appli-cation of the mothods of describing reservoir parameters and its results.
