    Abstract:

Nanling metallogenic belt locates across Hunan province, Guangdong province,Guangxi autonomous region and Jiangxi province. The production of W,Sn, Bi, Pb,Zn and REE is in the forefront of the country. It is one of the important nonferrous metals resource bases and production bases in China. The belt stretching across Yangtz plate and Cathaysian plate, locates in central South China landmass which is in the tectonic- magamatic zone of the Mesozoic Euroasia plate. This belt with favorable geological setting is an important prospective area for nonferrous metals, rare elements, rare earth elements and radioactive minerals. The target commodities are W, Sn, Mn,Pb and Zn. The ore- forming characteristics were studied for the main commodities, and mineralization series and spectrum were built following by the appraisal of the mineralization potential. 5 Key prospective zones were delineated, which are Yudu Yinkeng zone in Jiangxi province, Dayu ShangYou zone in Jiangxi province, Shaoguan Pb- Zn- Ag- W zone inGuangdong province, Dabaoshan Lianping Fe- Cu- Pb- Zn- W zone in Guangdong province and Chenzhou W- Sn- Mo- Pb- Zn- Cu- Fluorite in Hunan province.8 ordinary prospective zones (Changning Pb- Zn- Au- Ag- Fluorite B zone and others) were also delineated. These zones are evidences for further exploration in this belt. This study could support mineral exploration in this metallogenic belt.
