    Abstract:

The Nanpaniang Youjiang metallogenic belt located in southwestern China is an important metal mineral resources concentration area. Based on the previous study and our prospecting results, this study defined a new metallogenic belt and named it the Nanpaniang Youjiang Sn- Sb- Mn- Zn- A-l Au metallogenic belt. Six sub level metallogenic zones were re classified and a metallogenic lineage was established for the Nanpaniang Youjiang Sn- Sb- Mn- Zn- Al- Au metallogenic belt. Comprehensive study suggests that this belt rich in Sn, Mn, Zn, Al, Au and Ag is of big resources potential. The main deposit types are carlin type gold deposits, sedimentary accumulation type bauxite deposits, sedimentary type manganese deposits, SEDEX type lead zinc deposits, magmatic hydrothermal type wolfram and tin deposits. The authors also summarized the ore forming model of main deposits types. The 14 target prospecting areas including 10 key prospective areas and four average areas were defined in the belt. The determination of the ten prospective areas will give direction for the next investigation and work points, providing basis and suggestion for national geological survey and assessment for public service.
