    Abstract:

The Jin- Ji Al- Fe- Au- Pb- Zn- Ag- Cu- coal metallogenic belt of North China Block is one of the important national bases of mineral and energy resources. The new prospecting progress and prediction results have upgraded it to one of the target areas in China, therefore a systematic study of metallogenic planning and exploration deployment are on demand. With the prospecting progress and assessment results as the basis, this study redefined a new metallogenic belt and named it the Jin- Ji Al- Fe- Au- Pb- Zn- Ag- Cu- coal metallogenic belt. Combined with the analysis of regional geology setting and previous results in this area, we divided the study area into ten sub metallogenic belts, and preliminarily established the metallogenic lineage of this metallogenic belt. The mineralization in this area is characterized by multiple stages, multiple systems, multi cycle, inheritance and superimposition in the spatial evolution. The main metallogenic epoches are Precambrian, Cambrian late Permian, late Triassic late Cretaceous, and the Cenozoic, of which the late Jurassic early Cretaceous was the metallogenic outbreak period of endogenic ore deposits. Metallogenesis in study area are complex. A variety of deposits occur in this belt, including magmatic deposits, such as magmatic, porphyry, skarn, marine or terrestrial volcanic, magma hydrothermal type and quartz vein type; metamorphic deposits, such as metamorphosed sedimentary and greenstone formation; strata bounded deposits, such as carbonate mesothermal type; sedimentary metallogenesis, such as marine or terrestrial sedimental, sandstone, weathering crust and so forth. Combined with regional prospecting progress and the latest potential assessment achievements, it is proposed in this study that bauxite, iron, gold, manganese, molybdenum, copper, lead, zinc and coal have big potential and should be main target minerals of next exploration deployment. Besides, 26 key prospecting areas were defined in the belt, which will have some guiding for next exploration deployment.
