Cheng Yuqi is a famous metamorphic petrologist, ore deposit specialist and Precambrian geologist in China. He is a member of the Division of Chinese Academy of Sciences (Academician), a member of the fourth and fifth National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), and a member of the Standing Committee of the sixth and seventh National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC).Mr. Cheng Yuqi opened up the research field of metamorphic rocks in China, put forward the concept of ore deposit series, and developed the Precambrian geology in China.In the management of the geological industry actively promote the opening to the outside world, promote cooperation and exchange, for the establishment of the central directly under the field army team suggestions.The CPPCC has made several proposals to promote the legislation and implementation of China’s Mineral Resources Law.
