    Abstract:

    Volcanoes are found on almost all of the known solar system planets and their moons. Volcanism has acted throughout the time of the Earth and other planets, playing an important role in their formation and evolution and being the soul of the planets. Earth system science and deep space, deep earth, deep ocean exploration are important components of todays science and technology development strategy and the commanding heights of the worlds science and technology competition. Deep space, deep earth and deep ocean exploration have to face the volcano which is a window to explore the deep earth and deep ocean and a bridge to the universe. These volcanic products are important objects to invert the composition, structure and dynamical processes inside the planet. They play an important role in revealing the differential evolution and operation law of planets. In addition, volcanism have a significant impact on climate, environment, resources and biology, and is a natural link to build earth system science. Thus, it is imperative to strengthen the study of volcanism, which is the need of comprehensive science.
