    Abstract:

The granitic pegmatite type lithium deposit is an important type of lithium resource. At present with increased exploration, the chances of finding pegmatite- type lithium deposits on the surface are becoming scarce. The next step in exploration should focus on concealed lithium resources. Deep- penetrating geochemical exploration has played an important role in concealed ore exploration in recent years. Among them, fine- grained soil prospecting method can effectively detect anomalous information indicating deep concealed mines, which has been tested in a variety of landscape covered areas and achieved remarkable results. In this paper, we took Jiajika X03 concealed lithium vein in Sichuan Province as the research object, and used fine- grained soil prospecting method to carry out the experimental study on the detection of concealed lithium vein by deep- penetrating geochemical exploration technology, and analyzed the characteristics of mineralization and associated elements combination. The results show that Li, Be, Rb, Cs, Sn, Nb, Ta, Bi, Pb and U are characterized by good correlation and high enrichment. Among them, the Li- Be- Bi- Cs- Rb- Pb- U association is consistent with the ore- forming element combination of X03 vein in the study area. The high anomaly range of elements obtained by fine- grained soil prospecting method has a good correspondence with the known concealed ore bodies, and consequently the elements associations can be used as indicators of lithium explorations in this area. The above results confirm that deep penetration geochemical exploration technology can effectively indicate deep concealed lithium ore bodies and can be applied to geochemical exploration in landscape covered area of western alpine mountains.
