Abstract:Deciphering the P- T- t path of high- pressure (HP) granulites in collisional orogeny can provide crucial constraints on the geodynamic evolution of subduction- exhumation especially in scenarios where linking of isotopic ages to the metamorphic evolution presents a challenge. Petrographic observations suggested that the studied mafic granulites have suffered multi- stage metamorphism, and the conventional geothermobarometry and the thermobarometry of rare earth element (REE) in garnet and clinopyroxene gave the P- T conditions of 17. 5~22. 6 kbar, 901~985℃ and 17~28 kbar,1012~1049℃ for HP- UHT stage, respectively. Zircon U- Pb dating of metamorphic zircons yielded an age of 491±3. 5 Ma, representing the HP- UHT stage based on the REE distribution coefficients between zircon and garnet.
