    Abstract:

To understand the characteristics of beryllium rubidium ore, we find rare- metallic mineral resources in the Xiguanzhuang- Zhenping fault zone of East Qinling Mountains from the Chenyangping area, and integrated analysis was done on the electron probe characteristics of Chenyangping granite- pegmatite- type Beryllium Rubidium ore mineral and the geological characters of the mining area. Here we find 11 pegmatite veins and 4 Beryllium orebodies, the orebodies are 105~1100m in length and 4.26~7.00m in thick, BeO grade: 0.035%~0.0445%, R2O grade: 0.046%~0.123%. The economically valuable minerals of the ores contain K- feldspar, muscovite, beryl, garnet, etc. Beryl is an important beryllium- bearing mineral, and it appears in K- feldspar fissures in the studies area. Muscovites are concentrated in the middle part of granite pegmatite. Pollucite is a cesium- rubidium- bearing mineral, it unevenly appears in edges of pegmatite, tectonic fissures, and the clearances of K- feldspar grains. According to the analysis of the mineral electron probe, rubidium mainly occurs in K- feldspar and muscovite. The distribution of beryllium- rubidium rare- metallic minerals in Jinningian granite pegmatite are controlled by pegmatite veins. The magmatic activities during the Jinningian provided rich material sources for the formation of rubidium and rare elements in the studied area, through the later tectonic and magmatic- hydrothermal activities, beryllium and rubidium in the rock mass were activated and enriched to form rare metal ores. Similar tectonic features exist in the eastern and southern parts of the mining area, so it is of great significance to strengthen the study of granite pegmatite in the Chenyangping area for the further exploration of rare metal minerals such as beryllium in southwest Henan province.
