    Abstract:

According to research achievements of metallogenic regularities of the national mineralization potential evaluation, we carry out a comprehensive analysis and divide the eastern section of Gangdese metallogenic belt into thirteen ore districts such as Qulong - Jiama copper polymetallic ore district. We also identified the main ore deposits types in major ore districts and generalized the spatial and temporal distribution features of the diagenetic or mineralization and detected the deposit type regularity. Based on the studies above the system of minerogenetic series, sub-series and deposit genealogy were improved and ore-controlling or petrology structure model of Miocene porphyry-skarn copper polymetallic deposits were established. Finally, we propose that these three ore deposits types are of great importance to prospect next step in the eastern section of the Gandese metallogenic belt i.e. in the central Gangdese the acidic magmatic contact zone analogue to IOCG iron-copper-gold deposits during late Yanshan-early Himalayan period, the epithermal gold deposits located in peripheral zone of porphyry copper deposit in early-mid Jurassic to Miocene, and the tectonic-altered gold deposits related to shear zone.
