    Abstract:

The Paodaoling gold ore deposit is a porphyry type independent intrusion gold ore deposit located Anqing-Guichi ore district and first found in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River. The mean track lengths range between 11.9±1.8μm and 13.2±1.6μm and show unimodal distributions also consistent with the samples having experienced a single recent thermal event. Measured AFT ages lie between 123 Ma and 19 Ma, all are significantly younger than their host rock formation ages and can be divided into five phases : 123 Ma, 107Ma, 86Ma, 52Ma, and 19Ma, respectively. Modeling the AFT data identifies a four-stage regional cooling history, i.e., the first cooling phase of cooling took place from 150Ma to 90Ma with slow cooling rates; the second phase of cooling took place from 90Ma to 65-58Ma with rapid cooling rates; the third phase of cooling took place from 65-58Ma to 18-12Ma with slow cooling rates; the fourth phase of cooling took place from 18-12Ma to now with rapid cooling rates. Since the Middle Jurassic, Jiangnan belt is controlled by Plate tectonics of Pacific zone, and the times that formed different occurrences of the island arc of west Pacific ocean can be divided into five times: i.e., 125~140Ma, 110~125Ma,100~110Ma, 80~100Ma, 50~80Ma and 0~50Ma, respectively. Based on analysis of tectono-thermal history and tectonic movements, we propose the formation of different thermal history corresponds to result of different stages of the west Pacific plate subduction, the mixed ages proved the multiple stages of tectonic activities. Our study shows that the tectonic movement of the Guichi area coincides well with the multi- activities of Pacific plate subduction.
