    Abstract:

Contrast to the preceding discovery in 2000,11 new genera and 11 new species of mammal fossils have been found by exploration and excavation again in the Bishou Cave of Shanguan Town of Dongyuan County,Heyuan in the Dongjiang River Vally, south of the Nanling Range(shorter form Lingnan),China ,in 2008 , which becomes another significant finding. Now the fossils total up to 6 orders,21genera and 21 species , and all belong to the late Last Interglacial OIS5a Ailuropoda-Stegodon Fauna by identification. The genera of the fauna, especially among members of typical tropical, including Rhinoceros sinensis , Ursus thibetanus , Hylobates , etc , indicates the environment of tropical rain forest environment at that time.To some extent , the SiO2/Al2O3 ratio of earthy deposits in the fossiliferous horizon also showed the environment during the period of the fauna’s living conditions .It is suggested that an important environment change of the tropical climate that moved toward the north intensively have occurred in OIS5a, in the Dongjiang River Vally and south subtropics scope of Lingnan.
