    Abstract:

    Based on the method of geophysical exploration for the coal bed methane (CBM), the relationship between CBM enrichment area and well logging characteristic of different structural coals were studied for the Seam 131, Huainan coalfield. The basic technology of multiwave and multicomponent seismic exploration applied in CBM exploration were discussed, meanwhile logging parameters threshold and technical index of multiwave as well as multicomponent seismic exploration for forecasting CBM enrichment area were proposed. It indicates that between CBM enrichment area and gas outburst area presents an essential difference,which shows significant discrimination characteristics on geophysics.
