    Abstract:

As an important part of the Middle-Lower Yangtze River polymetallogenic belt, the Fengshan orefield consist of large-medium-sized jilongshan,Fengshan and Lijiawan Cu-Au polymetallogenic deposits. Orebodies are hosted in the contact zones of granodiorite porphyry with Triassic carbonate, and the mineralization was closely related to the Yanshanian granodiorite porphyry of the orefields. The authors carried chronological study with zircon SHRIMP U-Pb dating method for the mineralized granodiorite porphyry and got zircon SHRIMP U-Pb age of 138±2Ma(95% confidence,MSWD=5.1)for the Jilongshan granodiorite porphyry and 137±2Ma(95% confidence,MSWD=1.4)for the Fengshan granodiorite porphyry, respectively. The ages accord with the molybdenite Re-Os isochron age(140Ma±) of Cu-Au-Mo-(W) deposits in southeastern concentrated mineralization region, which indicates that the diagenetic mineralization of the Fengshan orefield happened during the early Cretaceous. The SHRIMP U-Pb dating also discovered inherited zircons with Neo-Archean ages in the Jilongshan granodiorite porphyry, which approves that there exist Neo-Archean-palaeo-Proterozoic crystalline basement in the northern margin of the Yangtze massif.
