Abstract:The north margin of North China Craton is one of the important bases for REE- Mo- Pb- Zn- Au polymetallic resources. Based on the new research results and understanding of the belt, this study re defined the metallogenic regions, determined the boundaries and names it “REE- Mo- Pb- Zn- Au polymetallic metallogenic belt in the Northern Margin of the North China Craton”. Combined with regional geological backgrounds, the metallogenic lineage was established preliminarily. Minerals in the area contain mainly REE, Mo, Pb, Zn and Au, and main deposit types are magmaticrare earth type deposits, vein type lead zinc deposits, porphyry type molybdenum deposits, reworked type gold deposits. Based on geological prospecting progresses and National mineral resource potential evaluation project results, twelve metallogenetic prospective areas are divided for further guidance exploration deployment, thereby providing a scientific basis for mineral prospecting.
