Abstract:The Huize lead-zinc deposit is a representative "rich and large" deposit in the Sichuan-Yunnan-Guizhou junction area. this paper collects the data of predecessors, Using the metallogenic system theory of "source, transportation, storage, transformation and preservation" as the axis, analyzes how the structure in the orogenic background constrains the metallogenic system, and summarizes the characteristics of the ore deposits in relation to it. The results show that the structure provides the migration channel and power for the ore-forming system, restricts the source of ore-forming materials and controls the migration direction of ore-forming fluid. In the process of "storage", ore storage space is provided and the spatial distribution characteristics of ore body are controlled. The compression background is the fundamental factor that causes the characteristics of "rich (high grade), large (reserve), deep (extended depth), strong (alteration), high (temperature) and zone (good zonation)" of the orebody of this deposit. Hydrothermal genetic deposit controlled by compressive fault structure is an ideal target for deep ore prospecting, and the turning position of compressive metallogenic fault is a favorable space for ore body production. Meanwhile, the characteristic of left oblique thrust of NE strike metallogenic fault restricts the lateral plunging of deep ore body in SW direction..
