Abstract:Duerji tectonic melange a set of tectonic melange composed of "matrix" and " blocks". Through the study of petrology and rock geochemistry, the "matrix" is considered to be a set of marine debris rocks formed in the tectonic environment of active continental margins; " blocks" includes pyroxene amphibolite，amphibolite, basalt, diabase, diorite. Basalt and diabase are Na-rich and K-poor Rock system with low Ti, high Mg and Al.They have the dual tectonic properties of MORB and IAT,and they are allochthonous blocks which formed in forearc tectonic when the ocean began to subduct initially. Diorite is the Mg diorite（MA）which has the characteristic of SiO2(53.41%)、MgO（5.57%）、Mg＃（51）、FeO/MgO（1.08）. Compared with basalt and anthracite, Diorite has the characteristic of high Ti, Ta and low Nb , and it is autochthonous block formed in the tectonic environment of active continental margins with subduction. Theconclusion of the study on the material composition and tectonic properties of Duerji tectonic melange is that the Duerji tectonic melange may reflect the process of late Carboniferous Ocean Subduction -Early Permian Ocean Land Subduction - Middle Permian ocean Basin Closing.
