    湖北峡东地区新元古代陡山沱组一段的“盖帽碳酸盐岩”中发育有与地层整合产出,保存良好的化学沉积成因燧石条带。燧石条带具有较高的硅同位素组成(δ30SiNBS-28为0.4~1.7‰),为滨海相沉积的产物;燧石条带的δ18OV-SMOW值为24.0~26.6‰,计算得到燧石的沉积温度约为49.7~64.5℃,考虑到后期变质作用的影响,取49.7℃作为燧石条带形成时的海水温度。燧石条带的Al/(Fe+Mn+Al)为0.43~0.50, Si/Al比值为257~269,表明燧石条带形成过程中有少量的陆源物质参与,而在∑REE和U/Th比值上则明显具有热水沉积的特征。因此,燧石条带的硅质可能主要来自远源火山热液活动,在滨海环境达到硅质饱和而形成化学沉积燧石条带,同时验证了早期研究者认为的盖帽碳酸盐岩沉积过程中环境温度曾一度达到50℃的猜想。

    Abstract:

    The bedded cherts which are in conformity with the stratum of the first Member of Doushantuo Formation and chemical precipitation originally, are discovered in the “Cap Carbonates” of Three Gorges region of Hubei Province. High compositions of δ30SiNBS-28 (0.4~1.7‰) of the bedded cherts indicate that the environment of silicate precipitate are littoral facies; for the δ18OV-SMOW value of the bedded cherts are 24.0~26.6‰, geothermometers of quartz-seawater oxygen isotope fractionation estimate that the temperature of chert sedimentary is 49.7~64.5℃. In consideration of metamorphism during the later stages, estimated the seawater temperature is 49.7℃. The ratios of Al/(Fe+Mn+Al) and Si/Al are respectively 0.43~0.50 and 257~269, indicate a few terrigenous matters mixed in the progress of silicate sedimentation, while the values of ∑REE and U/Th indicate a Hydrothermal Sedimentary Genesis. Therefore, the origin of silicate maybe supplied from a distal volcanic hydrothermal activity and precipitated as bedded cherts in warm littoral facies when the concentration of silicate basic saturated,and this work verificated a guess proposed from early researchers that the evironmental temperature for cap carbonates was once hit to 50℃.
