On the analyses of geological feature of coalbed methane accumulation，this paper confirms the definition of coalbed methane basin is bearing industry value coalbed methane basin，with study on the spatialtemporal revolution of coal accumulation basin. Based on the division project of oil and gasbearing basin, it gives the principles of delimitation and division of coalbed methane basin, on the basis of bearingcoal basin. In mainland China, it can be divided into 64 basins.
